Planit, a marketing, communications, and advertising agency, sought a new office space that would provide them with room to accommodate their growing business. The new office is located in the former King Syrup factory on Baltimore's industrial waterfront. Its interior scheme is designed to parallel the archetypal Hero's Journey. The transition from order to chaos to new order coincides with Planit's internal structure - the entrance is "ordered," the creative space "chaotic," and the viewing room for newly produced creative materials corresponds to the "new order." Architectural lighting of the space reflects this narrative sequence.
