Line-Plane-Volume was a commissioned light art installation that occurred during Artscape 2007, America's largest free, public arts festival. Flux Studio used this opportunity to illustrate the sculptural character of
the MICA Gateway building during the construction progress and investigate the architectural lighting design concept in full scale.
By reconfiguring construction work lights, illumination was used to differentiate three primary elements of the building massing,
including one floor in the circular drum structure, the open courtyard and the vertical studio tower.
