Project:

National Aquarium, Baltimore

The National Aquarium, Baltimore project includes upgrades to lighting design of new exhibition environments as well as existing public spaces in the museum. A temporary exhibit, lighting for the Jellies Invasion exhibit included floating ceiling elements with theatrical light fixtures above that created a dynamic, pulsing lighting effect on the floor below. Lobby lighting renovations were designed to supplement existing architecture while improving energy efficiency. Aquatics is an exhibition of acclaimed artist Henry Horenstein’s Animalia series. Photographic prints are illuminated with long life, low wattage sources, concealed from visitor view.
