Baltimore, MD | In Progress
For the renovation of this 1911 Beaux-Arts train station, the architect sought to balance historic integrity with modern transportation needs. Our role focused on lighting interior public spaces and reestablishing the station’s night identity with a new façade lighting approach. Strategically integrated lighting equipment accentuates the façade’s depth and detail and enhances the architecture’s rhythm. To address the challenge presented by high ambient light levels in the area around the station, we ensured that the hierarchy of our façade lighting approach incorporated this baseline level of illumination.
