San Francisco, CA | 2018
The San Francisco outpost of this New York-based skincare and perfume shop features a custom timber shelving unit running the length of the store. In accordance with the project’s small scale and the architect’s intent for a clean, minimalist aesthetic, we limited our lighting design to a few bold gestures. Continuous linear asymmetric fixtures accentuate the timber shelving, while recessed adjustable fixtures highlight merchandise on tables and a customized pendant light illuminates the cash wrap. Our work on this project included developing a lighting control strategy and ensuring that the lighting design met California’s Title 24 requirements.
