This visitor center adjacent to the Pompeian Oil factory presents an exhibit on the history of the company and its olive oil, with meeting rooms and tasting facilities to complement the exhibition space. In addition to focusing the exhibit and resolving the visual connection between the visitor center and adjacent manufacturing area, our lighting design centered on meeting CIE (International Commission on Illumination) standards in the tasting room. The system we designed gives users a high degree of control over the light spectra so they can obscure visual differences among food samples.
